Illinois sports bettors can now register for their new online account through their mobile, as the State Governor, JB Pritzker, removes the ban from the online registration. The news has followed the emergence of new rules for the mortar gaming facility in areas where the COVID-19 cases are rising.

The decision taken to resume the mobile registration seems to be abrupt for the Governor. He failed to make it a part of the executive orders that were issued during the pandemic. Since the Governor has resumed the mobile betting registration process till September 19, 2020, we can look forward to overshooting the promotional activity from DraftKings and FanDuel as they look forward to catching new customers. 

DraftKings is a daily fantasy sports contest and sports betting provider that enables its users to participate in the daily and weekly sports tournaments and win money based on the competition.
